What happened

At the Sept. 15 meeting the superintendent said Central Elementary is fully off the state accountability clock and Adams City High School is out of turnaround. The state also agreed to replace TNTP with Knowledge Matters as the district's improvement partner.

Why it matters to families

State orders have shaped the district's schools for years. Leaving the accountability clock lowers the risk of state-ordered changes, but the district stays under state progress monitoring.

The evidence

The Sept. 15 minutes record the superintendent's update. The Sept. 1 CDE presentation says the State Board amended the district, high school and Central Elementary orders to replace TNTP with Knowledge Matters, and that the district remains under ongoing progress monitoring.
