District news
New online school started in September for grades 7-12
What happened
Adams 14 began an online school on Sept. 16, 2026 for grades 7-12 with 6-8 students. It is capped at 50 students this year and is meant to re-engage students who are not attending in person.
Why it matters to families
It offers another way to stay in school, including as an alternative to expulsion, and it uses licensed Colorado teachers and district Chromebooks.
The evidence
The Nov. 2, 2026 study-session presentation lists grades 7-12, a Sept. 16 launch, a 50-student pilot cap, and its purpose as re-engaging students not in face-to-face instruction. The Sept. 15 minutes also record the launch.
