Union Vale Middle School keeps an interim principal for the 2026-27 year

What happened

On September 1, 2026 the superintendent told the board that Union Vale Middle School's interim principal would stay through the whole school year. The district will post the principal job again later this year.

Why it matters to families

The school will be led by an interim principal instead of a permanent one for at least the school year.

The evidence

In the recorded meeting the superintendent said the summer applicant pool was not as strong as usual, so the district paused the search and will repost the job later to get more candidates.
