District news
Business director resigns; board changes since spring

What happened
On August 27, 2026 the board accepted the resignation of business director Brooke Johnson and approved hiring a replacement. Earlier, a trustee who served 18 years retired in April and another trustee resigned in May 2026. The district website lists one board seat as open.
Why it matters to families
The business director builds the budget and manages payroll in a district with very little money to spare. A new person takes over just as the 2026-27 budget begins.
The evidence
August 27, 2026 recording: "approve the acceptance of the business manager's resignation" and "the removal of Brooke Johnson from all bank accounts and the addition of the new business manager." The district's school board page lists one seat as "Open" (term May 2024 to May 2027).
