Current policy requires responsible AI safeguards
What happened
Policy 08.2323, amended July 27, 2026 under Order V.B., requires maintained procedures for safe and responsible AI use, privacy and ethical safeguards, regular review, and guidance distinguishing inspiration from cheating or plagiarism. It also governs traceable communications. It does not establish deployment of a particular AI product.
