Board to consider selling property and writing a five-year buildings plan
What happened
The June 22, 2026 board agenda lists a resolution authorising the chief executive and chief operations and people officer to run a selection process and sign a contract with an owner's property manager to develop a five-year capital improvement plan. A separate executive session item would authorise the executive team to engage a broker for the sale of property, with any actual sale still needing final board approval. No minutes have been filed, so neither has been confirmed as adopted.
Why it matters to families
Blackstone Valley Prep runs six schools across several buildings, so which buildings it keeps and what it plans to spend on them shapes where children will be taught. Selling property is also one of the levers open to a network under financial pressure.
The evidence
