The board's agendas and minutes cannot be read on this page

What happened

Bloomfield publishes its board agendas and minutes only on BoardDocs, an outside platform. A resident with a browser can read them there, but BoardDocs answers automated requests with an error on both of its addresses, so no agenda, no set of minutes and no attachment from any of the board's meetings can be collected and stored for this page. The district's own website carries budget presentations, contracts, policies, public notices and state reports, which is what this page is built from, and its YouTube channel has not posted a board recording since 2015. So the meeting record here is what the board published about its meetings, not what the board decided at them.

Why it matters to families

Almost everything a board decides is written down in its agendas and minutes: who voted which way, what a contract cost, which staff member was appointed. For Bloomfield those records exist and are public, but they are not searchable or summarised here, so this page cannot confirm how any decision was made or how any member voted. Anyone who needs that detail should read BoardDocs directly through the Board Documents link on the district website, or file an OPRA request using the form on the board's page.

The evidence

The district's Board Documents link points to www.boarddocs.com/nj/bsd/Board.nsf/Public. That address and the same path on go.boarddocs.com both return HTTP 403 to ordinary requests, re-checked on September 30, 2026. The board's published 2026 meeting schedule lists 19 meetings at 155 Broad Street, all but one on a Tuesday, and is the only meeting document the district itself publishes. The district's own YouTube channel carries programme video from 2014 and 2015 and no board meetings.
