What happened

In May the board chose to reinforce the band hall walls for about $110,000 instead of rebuilding it for about $1.8 million. In July it approved a contract with Parkhill architects. About $1.1 million is left from the 2024 bond.

Why it matters to families

The band hall is the main bond project still to come. Students will get a new layout with more space, but timing depends on design and cost estimates.
