Junior high begins all-grades standards-based grading and ends daily Chromebook take-home

What happened

July council minutes call 2026-27 the first year of standards-based grading in all grades and require morning Chromebook pickup and evening return instead of daily take-home, to reduce damage and cost.

Why it matters to families

The decisions change grading across the school and students’ daily access to district devices outside the school day.

The evidence

Approved Bowling Green Junior High School council minutes record both changes.
