What happened

Branson School Online enrolled 72 students on June 9, 385 on July 15 and 418 on August 13, 2026. The brick-and-mortar school had 63 students on August 16. The district paid for TV ads on KOAA, a three-month deal at $5,000 a month.

Why it matters to families

Most of the district's students are now online. State per-pupil money follows students, so this drives the budget, staffing and the district's identity. Staff added online-school teachers, aides and stipends during the year.

The June 15, July 20 and Aug. 17, 2026 minutes list the enrollment counts. The Apr. 20 minutes record the advertising deal. The minutes do not give the budget effect.
