What happened

After analyzing student screen use during the spring, the administration planned an August update on guidance for appropriate technology use and monitoring screen time. The collected agenda does not establish a final policy.

The May 19 agenda schedules a presentation on the district's screen-use analysis. The August 4 agenda lists follow-up work on appropriate-technology guidance and student screen-time monitoring; earlier April minutes show that a proposed temporary PreK-2 pause was referred to the superintendent rather than adopted.
