Campbell Union High School District — Curriculum

Campbell Union High School District's curriculum work during spring and summer 2026 brought new instructional materials and classroom tools to its schools. Starting in May, the board unanimously adopted Savvas myPerspectives materials for district English courses, establishing new reading and writing resources across the district.

In June, the board followed with a split 3-1 vote approving SchoolAI licenses for the 2026\u201327 school year, after discussing how the tools would be used in classrooms and how staff professional development would be supported.

Most recently, the board scheduled action for its August 6 agenda on adopting Voices: An Ethnic Studies Survey as the textbook for ethnic studies courses, rounding out a summer of curriculum decisions that added English materials, AI-supported instruction, and new ethnic studies content.
