What happened

The district AI policy for faculty and staff approves only Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini and DIFFT. Tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Grammarly and Grok are not allowed for district work. Staff may not enter student personal information into AI tools and must check all AI output.

Why it matters to families

It shows how AI may touch student data and schoolwork. It covers staff, not student use of AI.

The evidence

The policy page lists approved and non-approved platforms and bans putting student names, grades, IEP or health details into AI tools. The page has no adoption date.
