Clap merges into Lilla G. Frederick Elementary
What happened
BPS says Roger Clap Elementary and John Winthrop Elementary became one unified school effective June 30, 2026, and their communities will attend Lilla G. Frederick Elementary beginning in fall 2026.
Why it matters to families
Clap students leave the Harvest Street school identity and join a new PreK-6 community at 270 Columbia Road. BPS says each impacted student will receive individual counseling for a transition plan.
