July notice says school tap water is not for drinking

What happened
A July 13 notice says Eagle Mountain’s piped water is not drinkable because of naturally occurring contaminants. The school uses bottled water for drinking and cooking.
Why it matters to families
Families should know which water supply students can use. The notice describes an existing water-quality issue and a bottled-water safeguard; it says this is not an emergency.
The evidence
The handbook reproduces Kaiser Eagle Mountain’s July 13, 2026 letter and July public notices on pages 18–22. The letter says June tests found fluoride above the state standard and arsenic just below its limit. The arsenic notice reports 0.0095 mg/L against a 0.010 mg/L limit and says occasional readings exceed it. These records do not establish an illness or a new contamination event.
