Dever permanently closes after its final school year
What happened
Dever Elementary School permanently closed on June 30, 2026 after students completed their final year on June 26.
Why it matters to families
The closure ended Dever's operations and required every family to move to another school. BPS said impacted students received individual transition counseling and priority in the 2026-27 assignment process.
