Draft 15-year facilities plan floats a $75 million pool and music project for a 2029 vote
What happened
At workshops on June 16 and Aug 18, 2026, administrators showed a draft plan that would bring the next building vote no earlier than fall 2029, possibly for a roughly $75 million high school pool and nearby space. Board members questioned whether voters would pass a project that size.
Why it matters to families
A pool and music wing are big, long-term choices for the high school and for taxpayers. It is only a draft.
The evidence
The Aug 18, 2026 workshop recording (auto-captioned) has the 2029 vote date, the $75 million estimate and a member asking to split projects. The June 16 recording says about $26.35 million of reserves would be needed versus about $6 million on hand.
