2026 mill levy set at 24.684 mills as property values jump 18.5%
What happened
On Dec 10, 2025 the board approved the 2026 property tax levy: a net 24.684 mills, up 1.0 from 23.684. Total assessed value is expected to rise 18.5% to about $287.6 million. State law requires a temporary tax credit of 2.316 mills.
