Board hires engineers for possible North Campus building projects
What happened
On October 5, 2026 the board approved hiring NorthStar Engineering and Surveying to produce surveys and 50% site, civil and construction drawings for possible improvements on the district's north campus. The superintendent has been searching for grants to pay for the remaining Master Plan projects; earlier BEST state grant money was moved into the building fund in 2025.
Why it matters to families
This is the first paid design step toward the next round of building work, which will need outside grants.
