Superintendent-principal Judith Billing resigns; interim leader in place
What happened
On April 30, 2026 the board accepted Judith Billing's resignation, effective that day. She had worked for the district for 37 years and had been given a new three-year contract in January. Retired Broadus superintendent James Hansen had been hired on March 17 as interim superintendent through June 30, 2026.
