$1.09 million in extra fees for construction firms
What happened
On June 8, 2026, the board approved $301,120 in added fees for architect GMB, plus $169,552 in management fees and insurance and $620,397 in staff costs for Clark Construction. The superintendent said this covers work beyond the original contracts.
Why it matters to families
These firms manage and design the district's building projects. Clark Construction was also picked in January 2026 to manage future projects, and voters are now being asked to approve a new bond.
