Extreme Weather Safety Policy Adopted Under State Law
What happened
The Board approved the GUSD Extreme Weather Safety Policy and Implementation Plan in compliance with California SB 1248 ("Yahushua's Law"), establishing mandatory safety protocols for hazardous environmental conditions during school-sponsored activities, effective July 1, 2026.
