What happened

The handbook says students may not pass off AI-generated work as their own. It lists loss of credit and discipline, with parents notified.

Why it matters to families

Students need to know when using AI can put assignment credit at risk.

The evidence

The 2026–27 academic honesty provisions explicitly include AI-generated work. The previous policy was not established, so this is a current rule rather than a claim that it is newly introduced. June 17 is the handbook approval date.
