Board approves up to $525,000 for middle-school math coaching

Curriculum
Franklin Elementary School in Kansas City, KS, is a historic building located in the East Argentine neighborhood that closed as a school in 1972. The Romanesque Revival-style limestone building, constructed in 1898, is now a community center and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013. After a fire damaged the building in 2023, the center remains closed but is currently undergoing rehabilitation plans.
