The FY27 budget cycle for Lincoln-Sudbury opened in late winter. A January 27 notice combined public hearings on the FY27 budget and the 2026-27 school-choice program, and the February 10 agenda then scheduled committee discussion and a vote on the superintendent's recommended budget.

By late March, attention turned to fees and capital funds. A March 24 agenda scheduled a possible L-S fee vote, with recommendations to reduce exam and parking fees, along with consideration of closing or transferring unspent capital-project funds.

The cycle wrapped up in June with votes that set new fees and reserve levels. The June 9 agenda included raising the adult lunch price from $4.28 to $6.00, raising EV charging from $0.28 to $0.42 per kWh, and establishing reserves of roughly $220,000 for food service, $650,000 for parking, and $125,000 for exams. Together, these actions show a budget process that moved from overall spending approval to fee adjustments and fund planning as the fiscal year took shape.
