Every school must coordinate wellness goals with local councils

Day-to-day

What happened

The Board required an August 2026 reference guide for school wellness structures, locally led by principals and staff, with goals presented to LSLC, SSC, ELAC, and other bodies and reviewed at least three times yearly.

Why it matters to families

The action puts recurring mental-health, school-climate, and wellness planning into school-level governance meetings that families can attend.

The evidence

Resolution 059-25/26 is stamped adopted as amended and states the August deadline, local leadership, council presentations, and three-meeting minimum.
