Board sends $321 million facilities bond to November ballot
What happened
The Board voted to place a $321 million bond measure on the November 2026 ballot, split as $185 million in planned work at Los Gatos High and $136 million at Saratoga High.
Why it matters to families
Voter approval would finance a decade-scale modernization program covering classrooms, career-technical spaces, HVAC, safety, traffic circulation, cafeterias, and athletic facilities at both high schools.
The evidence
The district's official funding FAQ says the Board voted to place the measure on the November ballot, estimates a tax of $30 per $100,000 of assessed value, and identifies $321 million in locally controlled proceeds. The adopted facilities plan gives the campus allocation.
