School expands new ELA and science curricula

What happened

LCCPS refined Fishtank ELA across grades K-5 and completed the first year of OpenSciEd in grades 5-8, while the FY27 budget adds instructional-supply funding for a new math curriculum.

These programs change the materials and instructional approach students encounter in English language arts, middle-school science, and potentially mathematics.

The evidence
