District news
Board picks a building-use plan
What happened
After a citizens' committee spent the spring studying the district's buildings and costs with Performance Services, the July 20 agenda listed board approval of 'Option #4' from the committee. In October the board's agenda added a request for proposals to lease district property. The posted documents do not spell out what option 4 changes.
Why it matters to families
Building-use decisions can change which schools students attend, how buildings are used and what the district spends on upkeep.
The evidence
The July 20, 2026 agenda lists 'Citizen's Action Committee for Building Use Option #4 Approval'; the April and May committee agendas list four and then three scenarios; the October 19 agenda lists a request for proposals for leasing property.
