Board gives superintendent highest rating and adopts a new evaluation format
What happened
After executive session on June 18, the minutes say the board read Superintendent Bill Thorpe’s evaluation in open session, gave him the highest rating, and was presented a new superintendent-evaluation format it will adopt going forward.
Why it matters to families
Superintendent evaluation is a districtwide governance decision. The minutes do not describe the new framework’s criteria or timeline.
The evidence
Orders #169–170 record entering and returning from executive session; the public minutes then describe the evaluation result and new format.
