Mill Valley School District — Facilities

In December 2025, the Mill Valley School District Board certified the final environmental report and approved a major renovation of the existing Mill Valley Middle School, covering both the main building and the gym. That same approval set the timeline for the work, with students and staff expected to move to an interim campus in December 2026 and renovation expected to finish in 2029.

The project then moved forward over the following months. In July 2026, the Board completed the design-development phase and authorized the project team to begin construction documents for the middle-school modernization, advancing what began as an environmental and approval milestone into the detailed design stage of the project.
