Mill Valley School District — Day-to-day

Over the past school year, the Mill Valley School District Board has acted on several day-to-day policy matters that shape how schools operate. In September 2025, the Board approved an agreement with Tam Community Services to offer an after-school program at Tam Valley Elementary, extending the district's daily offerings beyond the school day.

In February 2026, the Board approved — and waived the second reading of — a policy governing the district's response to immigration enforcement. The policy includes mandatory staff training, making it the most consequential item of the group because it sets out required procedures that district staff must follow when enforcement actions touch school operations.

Most recently, in May 2026, the Board approved Revolution Foods as the district's meal provider for the 2026–27 school year, following a competitive process that weighed three qualified vendors.
