Board orders an outside review after a Dec. 3, 2025 transportation incident

What happened
After a transportation incident on Dec. 3, 2025, the board held an emergency executive session on Dec. 8. In December it authorized up to $20,000 for an outside investigator to review how the district handled transportation. In January it formed an ad hoc committee instead. In February it approved recruiting an independent panel to review transportation procedures. The panel's recommendations were presented on June 10, 2026.
Why it matters to families
Bus safety procedures affect every student who rides. The minutes say the review focused on district procedures, not the specific incident.
The evidence
