Superintendent introduces new principal for POB Middle School
What happened
At the July 29, 2026 special meeting the superintendent introduced a new principal for POB Middle School, who had been an assistant principal in the district. The board also extended an interim principal agreement through Sept. 15, and on Aug. 17 voted to rescind that extension and approve an interim assistant principal agreement at the school.
Why it matters to families
The principal runs daily life at the school. The school had an interim principal during the transition.
