Facilities

What happened

The board certified voter approval of two capital propositions and authorized $13.5 million in bonds, with $4 million in reserves and savings supporting the $17.5 million program.

Why it matters to families

The program funds building systems and security, track and turf replacement, instructional-space upgrades, Bedford Road School outdoor improvements, and athletic-field enhancements.

The evidence

June 2 minutes certify the May 19 results: proposition I passed 1,585–515 and proposition II passed 1,254–867. The two bond resolutions total $4.25 million and $9.25 million. Approval is not evidence that construction is complete.
