Three-year teachers' contract ratified; heavy staff turnover
What happened
The board ratified a contract with the Potterville Education Association for July 2026 through June 2029. In June the district reported seven resignations, including band, art and social studies teachers, and in July it approved 17 new hires. Openings for special education teachers and paraprofessionals remained into the fall.

Many new teachers in one year can affect continuity for students, especially in special education.
