District will not hire a principal and declares a critical teacher shortage

What happened
In May 2026 the board declared a critical shortage and tabled the principal job. In June it decided a principal will not be hired at this time. Open jobs include Vo-Ag, social studies, a paraprofessional and kitchen help.
Why it matters to families
With no principal, duties are split among others, and the superintendent leads a one-district school. Shortages can affect classes for students.
The evidence
The May 28, 2026 minutes record the critical shortage vote and the tabled principal job. The June 23, 2026 minutes say a principal will not be hired at this time.
