Board adopts restraint and seclusion and other safety policies
What happened
On Dec. 17, 2025 the board adopted policy JKAA on the use of physical restraint and seclusion, plus a temperature standards policy, 7-0. In September 2026 it adopted updated wellness and child sexual abuse and neglect policies, and October 2026 first readings include concussion management, Child Find and the school emergency plan.
Why it matters to families
These policies govern how staff respond to student crises, injuries and emergencies. Families can ask the school for copies.
