Voters pass $4.64 million school budget; Moscow pays more

What happened
On May 26, 2026, Bingham and Moscow voters approved a 2026-27 budget of $4,644,145, up from $4,597,038 (about 1%). Voters approved $1.24 million in local money above what the state formula counts, 34-7. Moscow's total share rose about $49,600 while Bingham's fell about $6,400.
Why it matters to families
The budget sets what the two towns pay in taxes for school. The district says rising oil, food, utility and insurance costs drove it up, and it has cut several full-time jobs over two years to hold costs down.
