What happened

The middle school's state rating fell to 44.0% of possible points in 2025, down from 52.5% in 2024. It stayed on an Improvement Plan. Student growth scores fell to 36.3% of points, which the state rates as Does Not Meet.

Why it matters to families

Growth shows how much students learn each year compared with similar students. A drop means middle schoolers are falling behind, and the board has been talking about how to improve.

The evidence

The 2025 official one-year performance framework for school 7668 shows 44.0% of points (academic achievement 55.4%, growth 36.3%, Does Not Meet). The 2024 framework shows 52.5% (growth 50.0%, Approaching). The board reviewed accreditation results on September 28, 2026.
