Secondary principal leaves; one principal now leads K-12
What happened
The July 27, 2026 personnel report lists a mutual separation with Secondary Principal Mark Fritzenschaft. Jennifer Pierce, named elementary principal in April, now reports to the board as the K-12 principal for all grades.
Why it matters to families
Students in every grade now have one principal instead of two. This happened right before the school year started.
The evidence
The July 27, 2026 board packet personnel report lists Mark Fritzenshaft, Secondary Principal, under Mutual Separation. The April 27, 2026 personnel report had assigned Jennifer Pierce as elementary principal and Mark Fritzenschaft as secondary principal for 2026-27. From July 2026 on, agendas list Jennifer Pierce as K-12 Principal.
