Sand Creek Middle School gets an interim principal on Oct. 1
What happened
The Sept. 15, 2026 personnel list names Rachel Fazioli, an associate principal at Sand Creek, as interim principal there effective Oct. 1, 2026. The same list moves Michael Marohn, who was listed at Sand Creek in July, to a 12-month administrator job at Lisha Kill Middle School in student support services. The board approved the list 9 to 0.
Why it matters to families
A school's principal sets its daily tone. An interim leader means a permanent choice is still open.
The evidence
The Sept. 15, 2026 minutes list both actions. The meeting recording has the HR report on the moves.
