General Fund uses reserves for a second year

What happened
Unaudited FY26 records show $3.31 million in current General Fund receipts and $3.40 million in spending, including transfers. The gap was about $87,503, after a $390,476 gap in FY25.
Why it matters to families
Using reserves leaves less money to help cover future costs. These figures do not establish insolvency or a current cash shortage.
The evidence
The FY26 annual report lists current receipts of $3,308,247.95 and spending including transfers of $3,395,751.14. Opening resources are separate from new revenue. The FY25 audit and annual report corroborate the prior-year decline. FY26 remains unaudited.
