Board approves 4% raises and fully paid health insurance for all staff

What happened

On May 26, 2026 the board approved 2026-27 contracts for teachers, support staff, supervisors and administrators. They include a 4% cost-of-living raise, step increases, district-paid health and dental insurance and retirement sick-leave pay.

Why it matters to families

Pay and benefits are about 90% of general fund spending, so these contracts drive most of next year's budget. Teachers told the board the package helps keep staff.
