Board puts a $3 million-a-year tax override on the November ballot
What happened
On July 13, 2026 the board voted 4-0 to place a mill levy override (extra local property tax) on the November 2026 ballot.
Why it matters to families
The superintendent says it would give staff about a 14% raise, fund about $600,000 a year for career and technical education, and pay for school safety. He estimates about $8.81 a month for a homeowner.
