Board held roofer's payment until high school roof passed inspection
What happened
In December 2025 the board voted unanimously to withhold payment to White Castle Roofing until the high school roof project was finished and inspected. The board had already paid $219,118.80 in November and made the final $15,019.40 payment in March 2026. The district moved $200,000 from its general fund to cover the roof temporarily.
