District seeks $800,000 line of credit for 2026-27
What happened
On August 10, 2026 the board voted 5-1 to request an $800,000 line of credit from Farmers & Merchants Bank for September 2026 through August 2027. During the year it also moved $250,000 from the general fund into the building fund to cover project bills before borrowed money arrived.
Why it matters to families
A line of credit lets the district pay bills before tax money comes in, but interest adds cost. The November 9, 2026 agenda proposes moving the $250,000 back to the general fund.
