    Developed a $21.2 million 2026-27 budget with a lower local tax request

    Thiboutot described a budget built around student data, inflation, contracts, mandates, and labor costs. Joint fuel purchasing, shared business services, state aid, and other adjustments helped the proposal reduce the local tax appropriation by about $365,875 while increasing the total budget 1.05%.

    Recommended a combined junior and senior high school leadership structure

    After stakeholder discussions, Thiboutot recommended replacing separate junior-high and high-school principals with one principal and two assistant principals. The school board approved the structure and his recommendation of Jason Briggs as principal.
