Who makes school-level decisions?
Adams is governed districtwide by the Boston School Committee, whose seven members are appointed by the Mayor. At the school, BPS requires a School Site Council made up equally of elected parent representatives and educators, including the principal. That council reviews the full school budget, approves discretionary spending and the Quality School Plan, and considers recommendations with major effects on the school.
