Borough-funded pool under construction, expected open fall 2026
What happened
The Aleutians East Borough Assembly has approved design and construction of a new pool in Sand Point. The Borough is overseeing and paying for construction; once built, the school district will take over managing and maintaining it. Completion is expected in fall 2026.
